Does the fryer go into the sanitizing solution or should I just pour it on top?

    Have you done this before?

I think you might fuck up the electrical on it?

Bringing it up to that height to clean the outside is smart.

    Work smarter, not harder.

We would tell new bussers they had to drain all the hot water out of the coffee makers. With the dedicated hot water line they wasted a lot of water😆

Just curious, have you, your chef or any coworkers ever heard of a pressure washer?

Well, that’s a new one. Not every day you see a new one.

Idk if this is a joke but no, you don’t want to submerge the fryer in sani solution.

Think about what we’re doing here. We sanitize either w the machine which gets it to a sanitizing temp, or we use the solution which is diluted bleach that sanitizes then evaporates off as it air dries.

The outside of the machine can be wiped down with sani solution and air dry and that’s fine. That’s a lot more than most kitchens do. Afaik w the inside of the fryer you never want to use chemicals outside of soap (you don’t even need that really). Whenever anything except clean water or oil is used in the fryer you boil it out w water to get the soap out and also that also sanitizes.

Fryers run really hot so that oil at 350 or 400+ degrees is already killing anything sani solution would. Whenever you add chemicals in to the fryer you just risk contamination of the oil once it goes back in.

Tl;dr – you wipe it down w clean rags until it *looks* clean. Boil out w water before adding oil if you use soap. Don’t ever use chemicals like sanitizer inside a fryer.

thats insane, did you lift it yourself, or? i barely see people pull these out to clean let alone haul one into the pit and onto the sink.

Too bad it’s not a little bit smaller, you could just run it through the dish machine.

As someone who professionally cleans commercial kitchens.

I am both aroused and intimidated.

Personally I like to fry a few tide pods every once in awhile, silky clean oil and the food gets that classic tide taste

    What the fuck?
Nah there’s no way that fryer is gonna work right after that!

I build those fryers (I weld the tanks). Pretty sure that’s not how that’s meant to be done. 😛
